There will be no classes on Thursday, September 23rd so that our dancers and families can walk with us in the Southeast Polk Homecoming Parade! Please note: if the parade is cancelled due to weather PRIOR to 4:00 p.m. on the 23rd, classes WILL be held at the studio

Date: Thursday, September 23rd
Time: Parade starts at 6:00 p.m.
Meet at: Altoona Aquatics Center parking lot at 5:45 p.m.
Pickup: at the PBDS parking lot immediately after PBDS gets done walking
We Need: PARENT CHAPERONE VOLUNTEERS!
Every PBDS dancer and their families are invited to come walk with us in the parade! If you have PBDS apparel, please wear that to walk in. We will provide candy to hand out but if you would like to bring your own, please make sure it’s store bought and unopened. We ask if your dancer is in Pre-school – 2nd grade that they are accompanied by a parent, sibling, or responsible chaperone who will walk with them so we can ensure all of the littles are safe! As soon as PBDS is done walking, please meet your dancer in the PBDS parking lot for pickup. PLEASE do not wait until the end of the entire parade!
Lastly, we would like to start a “Parent Parade Volunteer” crew to help us keep everything organized and safe! Many of our staff members work other jobs or are in college and cannot attend the parade, so we need some help! If you (or an adult family member) is interested in walking with us and helping us to keep everyone moving, opening candy bags, keeping the dancers on the road, etc. please email the studio with your name and phone number. We appreciate any volunteer we can get to make sure these events are safe and fun for everyone!
